The Appaloosa has always been the breed I have loved the most
I was smitten from the moment I laid eyes on them in a poster book about equine breeds
While I will not lie, the coats of the Appaloosa were one of the main reasons I fell in love with them; Shimmer will always be the biggest reason I have gone full appy. Before Shimmer, I had only met three appaloosas in my life, and I could not stop but love them and favor them just a little more than all the other horses in the barn.
I genuinely don’t know why this breed has captivated my heart so much. Still, I want to show the horse world how unique this breed can be in mindset; confirmation and their color combinations are just the fun, exciting surprises. This is also a shout-out to my non- characteristics, Appaloosa’s; you are just as beautiful too.
I figured this would also be an excellent place to showcase Shimmer’s foals; I take no credit for these offspring. They are just genuinely worth a share, all 100% FPD (Foundation Pedigree Designation), and the breeders did a job well with pairing Shimmer with exceptional stallions. I hope to have this many successes as well one day.
