MAISIE IS SOLD

Maisie is a grade palomino mare pulled from a kill pen in Kansas in the summer of 2021.

Training: Maisie has been in training for nearly two years and finished 60 days of professional training with Italia Rouse at Royal T under Western riding (Nov 2022-Jan 2023) while I have been training her in English. Maisie is back at Royal T for training on consignment (May 2023)

Genetic Disease Tested: 5-Panel-Clean, but N/IMM: meaning she has both the normal and mutant alleles of the MYH1 gene, and she has the susceptibility to develop Immune-Mediated Myositis. In the almost two years I have owned her, she has shown no signs of IMM symptoms. However, I encourage interested buyers to research and talk with their vet on N/IMM horses.

Color Panel Tested: ee Aa nCR and negative for nd2/nd2, silver, champagne, and pearl dilution.

The vet estimated her to be closer to five years old, giving her a birth year of 2016 (At the initial exam). She is currently and continuously updated on vaccinations, float, dewormers, and farrier.

Maisie has incredible, nice sturdy hooves and has been barefoot her whole time with me. She has never come up lame since my ownership of her.

Extremely quiet and cute as a button, Maisie is a blast to ride! Ridden English, Western, arena work, trail riding, jumping and exposed to all kinds of obstacles, this little mare has seen it all and takes on new challenges like an old pro. We’ve thrown a rope off her, cracked the whip, and played with plastic bags. She’s willing, sweet, and well-minded. Maisie will be a great addition to any barn!

Currently on consignment with Royal T Training, and she will continue to be worked until sold.
